This year's event

Now in its sixth year, ArtWalk is Hong Kong's biggest art charity event with participants walking from gallery to gallery between 5 pm to 12 midnight on Wednesday, 1 March 2006 to view an array of art in the SOHO, Wan Chai, Sheung Wan & Central areas of Hong Kong Island AND by shuttle buses that will transport participants from Wan Chai to Central and Central to Aberdeen.

After buying an ArtWalk ticket and receiving your comprehensive ArtWalk brochure and entry badge you can - on ArtWalk night - start at any of the galleries at any time, and then take any route you wish in any order to visit (or re-visit) galleries. Wine will be served by each of the participating galleries and 'finger food' provided by our sponsoring restaurants. The ArtWalk benefiting charity this year is the Society for Community Organization (SOCO). Last year HK$450,000 was distributed to Hong Kong charities.

ArtWalk 2006 is organised by the Hong Kong Commercial Art Galleries Association.
